An Electrochemically-based Process For Microbiosensor Fabrication
(2001 FY 12)
A method to deposit an enzyme in a compact layer possessing high enzymatic
activity. The new structure serves to hold the enzyme in place and
is permselective, specifically allowing hydrogen peroxide to pass through,
while excluding endogenous interference such as ascorbate or the analgesic,
acetaminophen from passing through. This technology will allow for
the selective deposition of a particular enzyme on defined array elements.
